Child Health Psychology – King’s College Hospital
We put pedal to the metal and delivered a calm, age-neutral and joyful scheme for these ‘dated’ Child Therapy spaces. And, in the process, gave new life to a storage room too!
They love it 😊
The Challenge
To create settings more appropriate for the young patients and provide much-needed additional Team space.
Our Response
We took on-board all feedback for safari and local park themes with soft colour-tones before organising an art workshop, for patients and staff, with National Geographic’s artist, John Dyer.
The Garden Room – a tranquil team space, with tree canopy skylight, was carved out of the old ‘windowless’ storage area.
Super-comfy UK-manufactured furnishings, a little creative carpentry and magnetic notice boards adorned with flowers painted by staff, added the finishing touches!
